Hi everyone,

I just like many of you have been tagged to confess my sins, so here goes.

1. I love to hang around in my sweats. I do try to look polished during the day, but when I get home, I turn into someone who needs her comfortable clothes.

2. If I could, I'd take daily baths, I prefer baths to showers and I can actually bathe for hours.

3. When I'm busy I forget to eat, I sometimes eat for the first time at dinner time. Even though I LOVE cooking! I have sooo many cookbooks, but I hate cooking the easy way. It has to be special.

4. I will forgive won't forget.

5. I have sooo many magazines and DVDs it's ridiculous. I can't seem to throw any away.


Extra confession.... I have the old Batman intro as my ringtone.... My mum said all I missed was a cape last August when I ran to my car to help a friend. So in honor of her and as a bonus to you, here is a simple Batman mask (Halloween idea) for you guys. All I did was use Stila's Smudge Pot in black and a pencil to draw out the shape on my face. The lashes I'm wearing are the Cheryl Cole lashes from Eylure and I got mine (I have one of each of the Girls Aloud ladies) on ASOS.com.

Hi everyone,

 

I was tagged by Fiend, leeluvfashion and other ladies to do this tag (thank you ladies!) so here it is.

1. What are your makeup item must have(s)?
Concealer (current faves are Laura Mercier and Make Up For Ever) and my Shu Uemura Eyelash curler.

2. Who was the first makeup guru you watched on YouTube?
Either MissChievous or SarahVictor

3. From the answer above, how did you stumble upon the person's channel?
I think I just typed in makeup tutorial in the search box.

4. How did you discover OnSugar?
I was annoyed with the many gossip magazines because I really didn't know all the celebs in there anymore and they gave me information that I'd already read online. I then found PopSugar... via this I found Bella and I found a tutorial she posted and I thought "I could do that too, I've been asked to work in ceveral makeup stores here...." I then went to blog on TeamSugar then OnSugar started...

5. Who was the first OnSugar blogger you followed?
retail_therapy's the make-up blogette I think.

6. Did you ever buy a makeup item/tool which you end up not using or regretted buying?
Not often, but if I do, I usually give it to someone I know that would use/love it.

7. What do you usually carry in your makeup bag?

Tag: What's in my makeup bag? I don't carry this thing with me to work because I really don't have time to actually look in the mirror then. I apply in the morning and I use MUFE Fixing Spray to make sure it doesn't budge. When I go to friends and use my normal every day bad I have it with me though.

8. If you found your Holy Grail product, would you stick with it throughout or are you willing to try other products which might end up not suitable for you?
I would still try other things, because with time products develop and get better and better. However I'd never try a new product without my trusting product as a backup.

9. In your opinion which is more important, or rather which comes first, product quality or application technique?
I think both can be important for the final look, some products are hell to apply and knowing how to fix it can help, but you'll never use it again.
If a product is easy to apply it's something you will use again, and if you don't know how to apply it, having something that you can smudge on and that will look perfect even if you're new at it.... but even a quality product applied badly looks badly....
There is no answer to this question ;)

10. On a scale of 1 to 5, how important is makeup to you?
I don't think makeup is important at all, it is a way to relax, not think about things I still need to do etc. It does give me a little oomph on bad days so it can make me happier but it's not something that makes my day like playtime with a puppy, or a sweet compliment, if one of the students at school suprises me with something beautiful, an unexpected phonecall from a friend, a laugh with friends etc.
Makeup on a scale with those things is a 2, but if you look at how makeup can intertwine with life (doing makeup looks on friends and making them happy) makes me double happy so then it's a 4.
