Hi everyone,
I just got home from a tough day. It's not that something went horribly wrong, just nothing went how it was supposed to and then two minor things that got me all shook up in a bad way. Anyway.... I got home and there was a box by the back door..... with these shoes....

These really brightened my day.
Love,
Cee
Hi everyone,
I just found out that these matte nailpolishes don't stay matte all that long, at least not around the edges. The colour I'm wearing here is by OPI called You Don't Know Jacques Matte. This is a matte version of the You Don't Know Jacques from the French Collection. There is also a Suede version of this polish which is very cute.
On these pictures I'm wearing 2 coats of You Don't Know Jacques Matte and a white feauxnad apple (with a white Konad polish).

Hi everyone,
I recently imported the OPI Matte and the OPI Suede Collections and I had to try this We'll Always Have Paris colour immediately. These collections both contain famous OPI colours only now in matte and suede finishes. The Suede finish has a silver matte foil like texture in the formulation which makes it look very pretty and not as flat as the mattes.
We'll Always have Paris is originally from La Collection de France (fall/winter 2008) even though the colour is NOTHING like the original. It's not a dark burgendy colour, it's more of a soft rose purple pinkish colour with a matte silver foil shimmer in it.
I made a glossy "French Tip" (with Nail Tek - Foundation II (intensive therapy) ) to make you see how it looks if you do wear this polish with a topcoat (that kills the Suede finish, but leaves an extremely pretty glossy polish).

Hi everyone,
One of my students took this picture of me last week (thanks W!), and I thought I'd show you that even on workdays when you feel like you have no time to do any makeup in the morning... you can still do a great face in 5 minutes.

What I did was after my shower on still warm skin I used 4 drops of SkinCeuticals called Prevent Serum 10 AOX+ followed by Shiseido's The Skincare Range's Day Moisture Protection SPF 1. After this I used Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer followed by Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in the shade Fawn. The version I used was not the Oil Free version because it's getting colder here and my skin tends to be dry during the winter months.
Under my eyes I used the Laura Mercier, no. 3 Undercover Pot followed with a little of MUFE lift concealer, mixing the 3 Neutral Beige and the no. 1 Pink beige. I set this makeup with Laura Mercier, Translucent Loose Setting Powder and the Laura Mercier Velours Puff. As you can see this sets the makeup but doesn't make it look flat.
After this I used Urban Decay's, Liquid Liner in Perversion which I followed with Make Up For Ever's, Smokey Lash mascara in Black.

Hi everyone,
A while ago I was asked to redo an old MAC look for binasheikh1974. The look she requested was this old MAC Facechart
The look I did in August 2008 was this one (click on picture for the old post):
I redid the look on Nouk, and I created this eye on her:
I used a mixture of Make Up For Ever, HD Primer in 001 Neutral and Smashbox, Photo Op Under Eye Brightener all over her face to brighten up her complexion. I used the Make Up For Ever, HD Foundation in 155 Medium Beige on Nicole's face to create a slightly darker canvas. I applied this with the Make Up For Ever Finishing Brush 20N. With my finger I applied Smashbox, Camera Ready Concealer in no.2 Light Ivory and I topped this with Make Up For Ever, Lift Concealer in 3 Neutral Beige. I applied an old rose blush by Smashbox on the apples of her cheeks giving her a little of an innocent flush.

On her eyes I used Bourjois, Shimmering Shine Liquid Eyeshadow in 37 Blanc Chrome, on the inner corners I applied Urban Decay's DeLuxe Eyeshadow in Adore, blending this in the crease. To apply this I used a Models Own Angled Eyeliner Brush. The eyeliner that I used is the Stila - Smudge Pot in Jet Black and my Smashbox - Arced Liner Brush no. 21 , on my eyes I used it only on the outer corner, but on Nouk's eyes I used it as a full line because her eyes are a very different shape then mine. I started with a thin line making it thicker and giving it a slight flick on the outer corner. The mascara Nouk is wearing is Rimmel Sexy Curves in Intense Black 003.
